About the Department
This position is situated within the Section of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine at University of Chicago. Faculty within General Internal are recognized as national leaders in the areas of medical ethics, health economics and policy, health services and outcomes research.
Job Summary
The Research Assistant will work closely with the physician investigator, Dr. Anna Volerman, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, and research team staff to carry out grant-funded projects focused on issues at the intersection of health, education, and equity. They will be involved in several research and advocacy projects that focus on improving systems and reducing inequities in clinical, community, and professional settings. Specific topics may include pediatric asthma, mental health, violence reduction, schools, community health workers, and workforce. This individual will be supervised by the principal investigator and the senior research coordinator.
