QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, early childhood education, cognitive neuroscience or related disciplines from an accredited university
  • Expertise in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Analytical in thinking; organised and meticulous with all tasks
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

THK Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services helps equip children with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills. THK EIC involves structuring classes around small groups encompassing early childhood special education, social work and therapy support services to stimulate their adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.
We are seeking applications for a Research Assistant to join us as part of our research unit. The suitable candidate will be responsible for managing a range of tasks related to the research projects. He/ she must be able to work well with our research unit, external consultants and our large team of early intervention professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with research participants, members of the research unit and other EIPIC professionals
  • Carry out data collection, data entry and data analysis
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the research projects e.g. coordinating meetings, scheduling research tasks, requesting for information etc
  • Conduct literature searches in academic journals
  • Assist in preparation of research reports, findings and presentations to stakeholders
  • Conduct fieldwork when required
