Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with expertise in dairy microbiology to join a research theme on milk microbiology, infant formula formulation and characterization. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing innovative infant nutrition products that meet stringent regulatory, nutritional, and sensory requirements. The position requires a dedicated researcher who will be involved in carrying out the research experiments related with the project, student (UG and PG) training and day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory.
Minimum Qualification
BSc/MSc/PhD in Food Science and Technology or relevant discipline with background in Dairy Microbiology and Food Safety
Preferred Qualification
MSc in food science and technology with experience in Dairy microbiology, molecular biology, metagenomics, prebiotics properties, and cell line assays.
Expected Skills
This position will suit a food technologist or microbiologist or molecular biologist with previous research experience and strong understanding of milk chemistry, digestion, fermentation, antimicrobial functions and functionality in liquid/powder formulations. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Experience with Spray dryer, INFOGEST 2.0. Excellent manuscript writing skills are highly expected.
