POSITION SUMMARY
Within the R&I Department, the clinical translational research platform focuses on four key priority research areas: i) Neurorehabilitation and Recovery, ii) Assistive & Adaptive Technology, iii) Cognitive & Developmental Neuroscience and iv) Precision Rehabilitation. This position has a strong initial area of focus related to neurorehabilitation and recovery through Neuromodulation in Rehabilitation. The candidates will work under the direct supervision of the Scientific Program Lead to bring the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital to the forefront of using neuromodulation to enhance or suppress activity of the nervous system for the treatment of disease and improve people’s lives. The candidates may also support broader priority initiatives across the hospital as identified by the Scientific Program Lead and aligned with the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital R&I strategic plan and the mission of the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and Glenrose Hospital Foundation.
