  • Experience and strong interests in research related to multi-agent robotic coordination, sensing technology, machine learning, swarm optimization, and operational research on autonomous mobility.
  • Solid coding skills and experience in backend and frontend development.
  • Technical report and manuscript editing and formatting in journal and conference papers.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work
  • Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students, and the public
  • Ability to collect and analyze data in an objective manner
  • Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing research
  • Familiarity with methods for research design, implementation, and analysis
  • Familiarity with experimental design and analysis

Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will support research activities for both qualitative and quantitative projects, adhering to ethics protocols and guidelines. The incumbent will develop algorithms and data analyses for research related to robotic or transportation systems. The incumbent will conduct a literature review on autonomous mobile robotics and transportation-related research. Lastly, the incumbent will develop technical reports, edit manuscripts, and format journal and conference papers.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant area of focus

  • Recent graduates within 2 years and a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline -Preferred

Experience:

  • 1 year of work experience supporting research in a related technical field
