Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Research, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the successful applicant will play a key role in the running of a large, dynamic laboratory as well as make an important contribution to research studies targeting improved health outcomes for mothers and babies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in science-related field, nursing or equivalent. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience would be preferred.
  • Good understanding of GCP, familiarity with research-based principles
  • Good written and communication skills. Ability to speak other languages and common dialects will be an added advantage because our organization serves a diverse customer/patient base. This facilitates communication with patients from various linguistic backgrounds and contribute to a more effective work environment. This skill is also valuable in roles that involve direct interaction with patients, as it helps to bridge language barriers.
  • Able to work meticulously, efficiently, independently and as a team player
  • Possess strong work ethic
