JOB TITLE: Research Associate, Bioscience
LOCATION: Fremont, California
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
· Work Experience: Hands-on laboratory experience with biology techniques in an academic or industrial setting.
· Industry Knowledge: Experience with immunofluorescence, fluorescence microscopy, confocal imaging, tissue histology or immunohistochemistry, cell culture, 3D or spheroid culture, or related techniques a plus. Experience in research reagent industry a plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
· Perform biological testing for a variety of applications including fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, plate-based assays, nucleic acid isolation/analysis, PCR, protein analysis, cell culture, and other cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry techniques.
· Perform production and quality control testing of products, with associated record keeping in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
· Contribute to development and improvement of production and testing protocols.
· Meticulously record data in laboratory notebook, design and production forms, and curate digital data files on shared file server.
· Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables.
