Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The Position
In Roche’s Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development organisation (pRED), we make transformative medicines for patients in order to tackle some of the world’s toughest unmet healthcare needs. At pRED, we are united by our mission to transform science into medicines. Together, we create a culture defined by curiosity, responsibility and humility, where our talented people are empowered and inspired to bring forward extraordinary life-changing innovation at speed.
The position is located in the Immune and Cell Biology Department, within the Discovery unit of the pRED’s Large Molecules Research, where the discovery of next generation biotherapeutics is the primary focus. We closely collaborate with technical and biological functions to convert molecule sequences into innovative therapeutics.
Unwavering focus, collaborative teamwork and exceptional delivery are key behaviors that drive our mission of doing now what patients need next. Together, we can be transformative.
In this environment, we are looking for a dedicated Research Associate (m/f/d) to join our team of cell biologists. In this role, you will play a key part in the in vitro selection and characterization of therapeutic molecules. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing 2D and 3D in vitro assays using advanced cellular models like primary cells, iPSC-derived cells, organ-on-a-chip, and organoids. You will utilize a wide range of readout technologies and work closely with automation and data analysis experts.
