The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the academic department of the University to support wide range of in-patient and outpatient care services pertinent to general obstetrics and gynaecology inlcuding lactation consultancy, family planning and parenting education. In addition to the core services, department also caters to wide range of specialised services of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynaecologic Oncology, Urogynaecology and Pediatrics & Adolescent gynaecology. The department also offers formal post graduate training programs of residency and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynaecology and Gynaecologic Oncology. This is a grant-funded contractual position. Responsibilities You will be responsible to: assist the supervisor in developing high-quality research proposals for funding agencies and actively contribute to research publications ensure field implementation of research project standard operating procedures and guidelines as defined in the study protocol ensure proper identification and registration of participants as per the study protocol and supervise timely follow-up visits monitor, document, and report protocol deviations in accordance with study requirements provide training to study staff in line with the study protocol and guidelines ensure completeness, proper filing, and archiving of study data develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans with appropriate documentation and reporting prepare and compile study progress reports in collaboration with the data manager, including monthly project reports and presentation of study results as required prepare and present weekly project activity reports and coordinate with internal and external collaborators. Requirements You should have: a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a health sciences–related field at least two years of academic research–related experience sound knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices, and methods strong academic writing, analytical, and research skills integrity with a strong commitment to research ethics excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English strong computer skills willingness to travel to study sites on an occasional basis.
