We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will mainly assist with various digital health projects in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Managing various digital health projects involving wearable devices, mobile devices, and health sensors to collect and analyse healthcare data for providing personalised care; Coordinating the project implementation, preparing application scenario materials and assessment tools, overseeing data collection, performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and leading the database construction and management; Designing AI-based prediction and assessment tools, and other relevant GenAI tools useful for the projects; Building hardware platforms and software applications for the projects; Coordinating and training team members for running digital health applications; Liaising with researchers, healthcare professionals, developers and other project partners; Drafting reports and presentations relevant to the projects; and Performing administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned to support the operation of the projects. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Medical Engineering or related discipline; Proficiency in backend frameworks such as PHP/Node.js/Python, as well as frontend frameworks like Vue.js and React.js, and mobile app development; Familiar with Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) application development using devices such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino, and be familiar with artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, including prediction model building, large/small language models, agentic computing, and generative AI; Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), code review, and software testing would be an advantage; Strong leadership and project management skills; Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Able to work independently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team; Have a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; Good coordination, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and Experience in managing digital health projects would be an advantage.
