  • Conducting research within the framework of the Collaborative Research Centre SFB 1340 "In vivo visualization of pathological changes in the extracellular matrix – Matrix in Vision", subproject C02 (Biochemical analysis, elemental imaging)

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Chemistry or a comparable field.
  • A PhD is desirable.
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry, especially elemental analysis and mass spectrometry including sample preparation
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience in quantitative trace analysis using chromatographic and spectrometric methods are required.
  • Knowledge of quality management is an advantage.
  • Experience with biological matrices is an advantage.
  • Experience in presenting and publishing research results
  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; good German skills are an advantage.
  • Good communication and information skills, goal-oriented and structured work style, initiative/commitment, teamwork and cooperation skills, as well as conceptual, strategic and innovative thinking skills.
