POSITION SUMMARY
Professor Erik Runkle in the Department of Horticulture is hiring a research associate who will perform experiments in controlled environments and serve as a resource for his graduate students. The ideal candidate has substantial experience and expertise growing specialty crops in controlled environments (greenhouses and/or growth chambers) including the design and execution of experiments; data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation; and communicating results at scientific meetings and refereed journal articles. The candidate is expected to work with other lab members and assist with other associated experiments. The candidate will also assist writing grants and publications and deliver presentation at industry and/or professional meetings.
