This is a unique opportunity to be part of a research programme to advance our ambitions to work with a variety of community groups in Bradford to improve health and wellbeing through the application of innovative forms of co-production and community engagement approaches. This opportunity will suit a dynamic candidate who is able to transfer community engagement and co-production skills and experiences into a research setting to help us achieve co-production and community engagement to very high standards. . The role will within our for Co-production and Peer Research (COPPER) network.
The post holder will work within the Centre for Co-production and Peer Research (CoPPeR) and focus primarily on the programme grant focused on the Mental Health Collaboratory. They will support the implementation of co-production and citizen science initiatives by working with young people from across the district and community groups who are spread across the district.
A significant part of this role will be dedicated to working in community settings across the district to support community groups with developing the co-production agenda. This could include collecting data, implementing community research, providing assistance and training to the community groups, ensuring milestones are met in a timely and effective manner.
