Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a "Research Associate I” based out of South San Francisco, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate : $27.50/hr on W2 DOE Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension) Join the Analytical Operations team to support early-stage biopharmaceutical development through analytical characterization of product quality, purity, and stability. This role utilizes analytical tools to characterize the physical and chemical properties of biopharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using physiochemical techniques such as U/HPLC, icIEF, CE-SDS, and LC-MS. Accurately document experimental procedures and results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) following ALCOA+ data integrity principles. Support laboratory operations including reagent management, consumable stocking, waste handling, and equipment upkeep. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and internal quality procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, CE, or LC-MS. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Experience with ELN systems, Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of GMP practices preferred.
