Our client, a world leader in biotechnology, is looking for a “Research Associate II” based out of South San Francisco, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate: $36/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K Overview: Client’s Antibody Engineering Department is seeking a motivated Research Associate II to support antibody discovery using phage display and molecular biology techniques. This hands-on lab role contributes to developing novel antibody-based therapeutics in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Generate and screen antibody phage display libraries to identify candidate binders. Perform molecular biology and biochemistry experiments (PCR, cloning, ELISA, RNA isolation, bacterial culture). Characterize antibody candidates using high-throughput assays (e.g., ELISA, surface plasmon resonance). Maintain detailed experimental records and collaborate with cross-functional scientists. Qualifications: B.S./B.A. in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. 5–10 years of relevant lab experience (drug discovery preferred). Experience in phage display strongly preferred (training available). Strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
