„Achieve more in practice“ – this slogan characterizes study live at the Faculty of Computer Science/Mathematics of the HTW Dresden for approx. 750 students in the fields (Applied) Computer Science as well as Media, Administrative and Business Informatics.
At the HTWD, the Faculty of Computer Science/Mathematics is seeking to fill a full-time position as a Research Associate in Nursing / Nursing Science / Nursing Education (m/f/d) from 01.11.2025 until 31.10.2028 (subject to funding approval).
In cooperation with the Evangelische Hochschule Dresden – University of Applied Sciences for Social Work, Education and Nursing (ehs), the HTWD, funded by the Free State of Saxony, is setting up the junior research group MILE (Multimodal Immersive Learning Environments for Healthcare Education). The aim of MILE is to develop hybrid learning environments that not only present digital content in an immersive and practical way, but also simulate interpersonal interaction and social dynamics. Mixed reality and AI technology will be used to develop and test innovative teaching and learning concepts that combine the teaching of specialist skills with social and communicative skills using digital learning scenarios. MILE is characterized by close cooperation between the disciplines of university didactics, computer science, design and nursing science.
There is the possibility to pursue a doctorate.
