Your responsibilities include:

• Evaluation of human genetic NGS data as well as Sanger sequencing/MLPA
• Variant search and evaluation according to ACMG/ACGS/AMG/ClinGen classification for germline and somatic alterations
• Preparation of medical reports, including the presentation of treatment options based on proven genetic alterations.
• Optional: Participation in the immuno-oncology team (neoepitope predictions from NGS data, immune monitoring after individual vaccinations, participation in molecular tumor boards)

What we expect:

• A very good degree in the life sciences (specializing in tumor genetics), ideally followed by a doctorate. Minimum qualification: Diploma/Master's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in NGS technology, database research, and possibly genetic software
• Sound knowledge in the field of tumor biology/tumor genetics/immuno-oncology/pathology
• Sense of responsibility, reliability and precise work ethic
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills. Spanish skills are a plus.
