Industry/Service Higher Education Position Research Associate - Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics Purpose Research Associate is to support empirical research in macroeconomics under the supervision of Professor Chetan Subramanian. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality academic research involving large datasets, computational economics, and econometric modelling. Duration 1 Year Reporting to Prof. Chetan Subramanian Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities Collect, manage, and analyze large economic and financial datasets. Conduct empirical analysis using time series and panel data econometrics. Assist with data cleaning, estimation, and interpretation of econometric results. Prepare analytical reports, visualizations, and technical documentation. Qualification and Personal Profile Bachelor’s (4 Years Degree is mandatory) or Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. Key Skilland Ability Requirements Strong Quantitative and Computational skills. Proficiency in Stata, Python, and MATLAB; knowledge of R is an added advantage. Strong understanding of time series and panel data econometrics, and econometric modelling. Demonstrated experience handling large datasets.
