The Institute of Insurance Economics at the University of St.Gallen is seeking to hire a Research Associate (PhD Position). This position will be of particular interest to candidates aiming to pursue an academically-oriented PhD at the Chair for Risk Management and Insurance (see here for details). The researcher will benefit from a focused research environment dedicated to fostering academic development, supported by a strong foundation that provides all necessary resources.   • Strong interest in risk management and insurance
  • Demonstrated suitability to work on analytical problems
  • First practical experience in a profession closely related to risk and insurance management
  • Previous research experience in an insurance-related environment is a definite plu

Responsibilities:

Candidates for this position are expected to enroll in the PhD program in Finance/Management at the University of St.Gallen, with the doctoral supervisor being Prof. Dr. Hato Schmeiser.
