Description

A Research Associate / Research Assistant position is currently provided by Prof. Linda Gu’s research group (https://www3.sbs.cuhk.edu.hk/en/our_people/prof-gu-shen-linda/). Applicants should have a Master’s degree or above in the area of biomedical research or a related discipline (for Research Assistant); or a Master’s degree or above in the abovementioned disciplines plus at least four years of post-qualification relevant experience (for Research Associate). Candidate with a proven research track record in stem cell culture and CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing will be an advantage. The appointee will be responsible for conducting research projects on cellular studies to functionally characterise novel disease-causing genes. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
