Responsibilities

Facilitating the operational aspects of the “Innovation Hub” wastewater treatment research collaboration between Southern Water and UoP. The post holder will be based at the Environmental Technology Field Station at Petersfield wastewater treatment works.

The post involves:

  • Setting up and maintaining and test rigs and field trials.
  • Undertaking the monitoring of wastewater treatment pilot plants.
  • Laboratory analysis of water and other samples as required
  • Maintaining routine lab operations and monitoring of equipment/reagent stocks.
  • Data collation and analysis of experimental results.
  • Maintaining H+S and Risk Assessments for Innovation Hub activities

This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 19 November 2025. The position is working on site only. The interviews are anticipated to be held on 05 September 2025.
