REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. or Sc.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in clinical research imaging, including publications, in three-dimensional medical imaging including MRI or CT.
  • Experience in conducting animal and human subjects imaging studies.
    Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Leadership experience in imaging studies with IRB approval.
  • Experience in quantitative flow imaging and/or advanced imaging methods and analyses.
Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

This position will support Dr. Charley Taylor in his research program in the design and conduct of imaging clinical and pre-clinical research studies, writing grants and advising postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. This candidate will also support Dr. Taylor’s activities for the Center for Computational Medicine including organizing seminar series and conferences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clinical and pre-clinical study and medical imaging study support, including study and imaging protocols
  • Writing grant proposals and reports in support of laboratory and collaborative research
  • Provide mentorship and student support related to clinical and imaging studies, imaging methods, and good research practices / good clinical practice
  • Writing and presenting peer-reviewed conference papers, and writing journal articles
  • Support for seminars and conference activities
