JOB SUMMARY

The Division of Epidemiology within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah seeks a highly motivated research associate to join its staff. This individual will work both independently and assist researchers in the field of data science, information technology, informatics, and advanced analytics to transform, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from multiple environments across the nation and evaluate or create new data analysis and data management tools. This work includes developing technologies and existing alternatives. This position will work closely with the VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure resource center at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of related experience in the field or related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required.
This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.
