Responsibilities

The Research Associate will apply their expertise and knowledge to research projects and carry out or oversee original and independent research under the general direction of a principal investigator. The incumbent will conduct quantitative analysis and bias correction of observational, radar, and satellite precipitation datasets for IDF curve development. The incumbent will develop historical and climate-adjusted IDF curves using statistical and climate-informed methodologies. Lastly, the incumbent will prepare technical reports and present findings to project partners, including municipal stakeholders.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline; PhD in a relevant discipline preferred
