The Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS) at Western University is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about media, communications, and information. The Research Associate will support research pertaining to the use of AI in education and the impact of AI-generated material on decisions and decision making. The incumbent will identify and summarize relevant literature, assist in the identification of research questions and the design of research, prepare and manage ethics submissions, support the collection and analysis of data, and participate in dissemination activities including preparation of manuscripts and presentations at conferences and workshops. The Research Associate will be responsible for the development of research questions and designs, in collaboration with their supervisor.
