JOB SUMMARY

You will provide general laboratory support services for the research projects conducted at Infectious Disease Research Laboratory (IDRL) in NCID, which includes laboratory investigations and day-to-day management of laboratory activities and maintenance of the laboratory equipment.

EDUCATION

• Diploma or degree in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• Prior experience and familiarity with standard molecular and virology techniques e.g. qPCR, virus and mammalian cell culture.
• Prior experience with working in a BSL2 environment
• Prior experience in a clinical microbiology lab is advantageous
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Good oral and written communication skills
