As an Analytical Research Chemist, you’ll work as part of a dynamic team providing compositional insight for new product development. You will lead project workstreams where compositional analysis is needed, develop Chromatography methods for R&D projects, perform GPC, HPLC, and GC analysis with data interpretation for R&D and production groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, materials science, physics, engineering, or related subject area (Analytical Chemistry preferred) and 0+ years of industrial work experience.
  • BS with industrial experience with 10 years of experience
  • MS with industrial experience with 5 years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of Chromatography techniques.
  • Experience implementing Chromatography methods
  • Write reports, give presentations, and lead discussions.
  • Previous experience with advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Willing to travel between our Allison park and Monroeville sites up to 50% of time

Responsibilities
  • Develop Chromatography methods for new products promptly.
  • Collaborate as a researcher on the development and launch of new products.
  • Work with business and technical collaborators to understand priorities and communicate findings.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements for laboratory operations across several work streams
  • Consult on Global projects that relate to analytical Chromatography analysis.
  • Perform GPC, HPLC, and GC including sample analysis and data interpretation.
  • Maintain schedule of projects and timelines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the lab follows safety protocols.
