Full time, fixed term until 31st December 2027 Be valued for your exceptional organizational skills Base Salary $112,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity This role provides end‑to‑end management of Major Awards research funding grants across the University’s research portfolio. You will join a collaborative Research Grants Post Award team that supports researchers to secure, establish and manage funding effectively. Your work will directly contribute to enabling high‑quality research and ensuring compliance with University and funding body requirements. Your key responsibilities will be to: work closely with researchers, funding providers, the Commercialisation team and internal stakeholders across the University on the establishment of Major Awards (for example Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence grants) manage end‑to‑end administration of research contracts, grants, fellowships and variations coordinate award acceptance, contract establishment, account setup and HERDC classification negotiate contract terms with external funding agencies prepare required documentation and provide advice on University and funding body policies maintain accurate agreement records in the Research Data Management System contribute to continuous improvement of research administration processes About you experience administering Major Award research funding schemes in a high‑volume environment is highly desirable knowledge of national and international research funding processes and policies capability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and contractual requirements proficiency in managing research contract systems, data entry and agreement workflows ability to navigate research‑related IP, due diligence and legal review processes bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
