The Youth and Family Research Program (https://yfrp.pitt.edu) seeks to be an inclusive, affirming, and safe space for all staff and participants. Within this context, we examine neighborhood experiences in conjunction with individual factors that may contribute to differences in cognitive of aging. The Research Coordinator will be involved in novel research for the ThinkPHRESH study by preparing and presenting clinical and cognitive outcome reports, advising cognitive assessment team on scoring and testing questions, and verifying data entry and assisting with data pulls for collaborators. This individual will be part of a collaborative research team and will attend lab meetings, collaborate with multiple faculty members, and have opportunities to grow research skills and interests. This position is grant funded. Responsibilities: Maintain research records and data including responsibility for communications via mail or fax with project sponsor, all regulatory agencies, and principal investigators. Reimburse subjects for study participation Attend educational seminars to advance knowledge in research coordination. Responsible for project documentation and audit-related activities. Recruit participants, conduct study visits and follows subjects through study completion. Assist with laboratory packing and shipping. Maintain compliance with IRB regulations. Coordinate all supplies, forms and records with project sponsor and regulatory agencies. Develop system for tracking recruitment efforts and communication with subjects. Bachelors degree required, preferably in Psychology, Neuroscience, Sociology or related research field. Minimum of one year of work experience in research project and/or related clinical setting is required. Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. Working knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.
