Function/Duties of Position This position is for a research data analyst 1 in the Oregon Center for Aging & Technology (ORCATECH) at OHSU as part of a team of researchers and technical staff who work together to create tools and systems for assessing changes in memory and motor function in the elderly, using unobtrusive in-home sensor systems. This person will work with ORCATECH faculty on the curation of digital biomarker data to create data sets for both internal and external analysis, manage and create ORCATECH Qualtrics surveys and data, and assist with limited data analysis and data visualizations. Required Qualifications Masters' degree in relevant field OR Bachelor’s in relevant field AND 2 years of relevant experience Experience with Qualtrics or other electronic survey Experience with digital biomarker data such as output from wearables devices, digital scales, etc. Experience with python, R or other programming language used for data manipulation and analysis Strong computer skills (including Microsoft OS and productivity software) Critical thinking skills and the ability to learn and integrate new information quickly Ability to speak and communicate clearly Demonstrate a high level of professionalism High level of responsibility and ability to work independently Ability to prioritize work demands and manage time appropriately Organizational skills and ability to multitask Preferred Qualifications Research experience; familiarity with research methods All are welcome Oregon Health & Science University values a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
