Please write your SOQ to address the following three questions:

  • Describe your expertise in use of geospatial software programs (such as ESRI ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and Tableau).
  • Describe your expertise with presenting quantitative and qualitative data visually using charts, graphs, tables, maps and other appropriate methods to produce reports and presentations.Describe your experience with database design/structure, e.g., Esri File Geodatabase and project management principles (e.g., schedules, tasks, milestones, deliverables).

Responsibilities

Other Duties include:

  • Collect, verify, analyze, and visualize broadband data, perform evaluation, analysis, and research of data for various projects; design and maintain GIS mapping applications.
  • Investigate broadband availability and subscriber data, along with demographic data.
  • Collect, validate and maintain geographic information related to broadband grant awards and applications.
  • Create maps and visualizations of data from broadband programs.
  • Provide guidance, consultation, recommendations regarding the Commission’s mapping data and tools.
  • Analyze program data and prepare necessary summary charts/tables for written reports regarding the broadband programs
