Communications and Public Engagement (CPE) is the Government of Alberta’s full-service communications, public relations and marketing agency.
CPE provides planning, execution and measurement of communications efforts. Its expert staff provides specialized services across the spectrum of communications and marketing from research, design, writing and social media, to event coordination, issues management, digital communications, advertising and public consultation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate degree in research, political science, public policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
    o Program evaluation and research methodology.
    o Survey design and data collection.
    o Statistical analysis using software such as SAS or SPSS.
    o Text analytics and unstructured data analysis.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • High political acumen and sensitivity to public sector environments.
  • Proficiency in training and documentation for diverse audiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Research Data Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting quantitative and qualitative research across government. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Research, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and dissemination of public opinion research that informs Alberta’s policies and programs.
