JOB SUMMARY

Be part of a team dedicated to supporting Huntsman Cancer Institute, an NCI -designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, to maximize its potential, excellence, and trajectory toward future goals.
This position will report to the Associate Director of Research Development, Huntsman Cancer Institute ( HCI ). This position is hybrid. The expectation is to be in the office at least 1 day a week and remotely up to 4 days. This may change based on departmental needs. With expanded knowledge of research development and with increasing independence, this role supports and implements a wide range of strategic, proactive, and capacity-building activities designed to enable and enhance research and may include strategic research advancement, communication of research and research opportunities, enhancement of collaboration and team science, and proposal development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree + two years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).

Provide writing and editorial review of scientific grants and other scientific narratives, including nominations for honorary awards.
