Description Job Summary Overview The position is responsible for researching, identifying, and recommending solutions to gain system efficiencies through the use of new or existing software or applications. Essential Job Functions Responsible for low to moderately complex solutions. Consults with business owners on their needs providing assistance on technical statements of work for custom power on or API development. Ability to understand system integration between and among systems. Ensures integration and dataflow is part of implementation plan. Knows the role of the business process within the organization and the downstream and upstream business partnerships including managing and controlling for impacts to other areas. Maximizes existing software, leveraging application functionality, automation and integration over manual processes. Maintains a “buy” versus “fully custom build” frame of thinking. Ensures core system(s) data fields are documented to support data integrity. Researches and implements system modules and leverage system capabilities to meet end user needs. Ability to gather data and analyze to ensure that solutions presented capture a full picture approach when testing/finalizing programming. Responsibility to ensure that programming/processes are accurate through testing and validation processes. Ability to lead smaller process changes, during the vetting, documentation, testing and implementation through changes management processes. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Position Required Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Associate’s degree or two (2) years’ experience in technical system administration and development role or two (2)years’ experience in financial institution operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of computers and software applications in Windows, Word, Excel. Ability to effectively communicate to individuals, groups and organizational leaders verbally in person, on the telephone and through email. Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret data and reporting specifications to meet end user requirements. Ability to define problems, collect data, and make appropriate recommendations for resolution. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to determine and test reliability and validity. Knowledge of computers and software applications in Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook required. Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to define situations, document data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to calculate rates, ratios and percentages. Licenses, Training, and Certifications Required None. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year at Arizona Financial with experience in project management processes and Symitar and/or Silverlake Core Systems. Hybrid Work Environment and Physical Demands Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently required to sit. Regularly required to use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
