Do you have experience of developing and supporting income generating activities such as bids or tenders? Is working on a broad range of projects something that motivates you? Would you like to work within a friendly and supportive team on a hybrid basis and have 30 days holiday a year? If so, this opportunity may be for you.
The University of Lincoln has a long-term ambition to establish a global reputation for research, knowledge exchange, and impact. To support us in achieving our growth aims we are recruiting for a proactive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Research Development Officer to join our Research Development Team within the Research and Enterprise Department.
This role will drive research bidding activity across the University, working with a range of national, EU and International funding bodies, to identify and maximise new opportunities for external income generation. You will closely collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners, developing and delivering engagement events and workshops to upskill and promote opportunities.
You will have experience of working in an income generation environment, of building relationships and stakeholder engagement, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
This post provides a great opportunity to contribute towards our aims and ambitions, whilst developing their career within an enterprising and forward-thinking organisation. We offer an award-winning staff benefits scheme, 30 days of annual leave plus concessionary days (pro rata) and a generous professional development provision.
We are very happy to talk to you about flexible working options for this role. For an informal discussion about the post please contact Ben Stoker, Research Development Manager, at bstoker@lincoln.ac.uk
