The On Your Terms team have developed a multi-mode methodology and evidence-informed online survey for young people aged 14-18. As the study moves from the development to implementation stage, we are looking for an experienced and passionate research expert to lead the planning and implementation of the qualitative, data analysis and reporting components.
This full-time / part time, non-ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $139,336 - $163,754 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the qualitative component of the project.
  • Lead the quantitative and qualitative data analysis and report development for the project.
  • Lead consultation and knowledge translation activities relating to the study findings and reporting.
  • Management of the study’s Technical Advisory Group and Expert Advisors.
  • Stakeholder engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders taking a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, solutions-based approach.
  • Lead the study’s research team and collaborate with other members of the project leadership team in the development and delivery of key milestones and deliverables and ensure the smooth running of the project.
  • Provide high level strategic advice to the National Children’s Commissioner on strategic issues arising from the project.
  • Contribute to the Senior Policy Group including by meeting reporting, planning/evaluation and other responsibilities.
  • Attend consultative and other meetings and represent the Commissioner/Commission as required; including before parliamentary committees and other public inquiries and participate in the public awareness/ promotional work of the Commission.
