Are you passionate about leveraging scientific research and data to drive the development of innovative clean water solutions? Aquaviolet is seeking a driven Research Engineer / Intern to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific discovery and practical product development, ensuring our UVx sterilization technology meets the highest standards of efficacy and market demand. You’ll contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from experimental design and data analysis to validating real-world performance and contributing to product strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Product Performance & Optimization:
  • Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to rigorously evaluate and fine-tune the effectiveness and performance parameters of our UVx sterilization products.
  • Analyze complex operational and experimental data to define, refine, and validate product specifications and performance metrics.
  • Scientific Validation & Research:
  • Contribute to the scientific research and validation of water treatment efficacy, focusing on microbial inactivation and long-term performance.
  • Support the generation of scientific data and reports to demonstrate product value and secure external validation (e.g., regulatory, academic).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with R&D, Hardware, Software, and Business Development teams to translate scientific findings and technical capabilities into clear product requirements and features.
  • Act as a key liaison, ensuring alignment between product vision, technical feasibility, and market needs.
  • Market & User Insight:
  • Assist in researching market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and new feature development.
