JOB DESCRIPTION
Conducts project related activities for the advancement of the Center for Injury Biomechanics (CIB). Develops best practices around process development and supports engineering and manufacturing initiatives to advance biomechanics technologies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with two years biomechanics research experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience in an engineering field/industry.
Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with high rate finite element analysis simulations, extensive pre- and post-processing capabilities
Familiar with high performance computing clusters
Advanced experience with CAD modeling
Works well within a team environment
