YOUR POSITION

You will be working in a team of about 25 people in the Applications & Solutions department, where you will focus mainly on electromagnetic applications, both from an experimental and modelling perspective.
Based on a combination of advanced electro-mechanical engineering skills and high level numerical modelling skills, the aim is to contribute to the development of advanced steel solutions and co-engineering projects, and to ensure that OCAS is continuously at the forefront of technology.
Specifically, you will contribute to specific projects on the electromagnetic behaviour of steel grades in close collaboration with researchers from Applications & Solutions and other departments. You will also monitor new trends in the field and identify the need for new research topics, with the ultimate aim of initiating new R&D projects with customers, international partners and other research laboratories.
