Our Center for Digital Safety & Securityis looking for further Ingenious Partners for the Vienna or Klagenfurt location. At the Center for Digital Safety & Security, we develop state-of-the-art information and communication technologies to make our systems highly secure and reliable in the context of comprehensive digitalisation and global networking.
Our Research Field Enabling Digital Technologies, within the Competence Unit “Security and Communication Technologies”, has been leading large European research projects in the field of quantum cryptography since 2004 and specialises in applied research of new methods to exploit the physical properties of optical and wireless communication media and use quantum effects to increase digital security.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AS AN INGENIOUS PARTNER:

  • Degree (BSc / MSc) in computer science (FH / University), preferably in software engineering or equivalent higher technical education (HTL) with experience
  • Experience in professional software engineering in C/C++ under Linux (design, implementation, test)
  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for creating sustainable technical solutions and implementing them in practice
  • High commitment and ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary and diverse teams.
  • English as working language (spoken and written proficiency)
  • Knowledge in DevOps, CI/CD, bash scripting, Python (is a plus)
  • Affinity to abstract, mathematical thinking and physics (is a plus)
  • Knowledge in cyber security and/or network engineering (is a plus)
  • Good German, both spoken and written (is a plus)
