Description
We are looking for a Lead Researcher to join the Product Excellence and Human Factors Team in Vehicle Engineering in designing next and future generation interactions and experiences for our global customers. Primary position duties will include conducting customer research, analyzing research findings, creating principles / criteria that describe the user experience, and socializing these customer insights to stakeholders and management. Collaboration and continuous communication among cross-functional teams will be instrumental to the success of these deliverables. We are looking for a Lead Researcher to join the Product Excellence and Human Factors Team in Vehicle Engineering in designing next and future generation interactions and experiences for our global customers. Lead end to end clinic cycles: clinic design through recommendation Generate customer derived metrics / principles that are applied as criteria for product design and evaluation. Develop target research questions / hypotheses and protocols for customer research that range from surveys, interviews, ethnography, co-creation / generative, desirability testing, usability testing, etc. Manage the logistics and timing of research projects including advising on market type, participant recruitment, equipment / materials, fielding setup, external partner(s), data output, and guidelines for data usage. Support the iterative generation of prototypes to ensure stimuli appropriateness for addressing the target questions / hypotheses in a research setting. Synthesize and analyze customer research data and resolve into principles that are used to design near to far in-vehicle interactions. Socialize customer insights to project stakeholders and management. Maintain high standards of documentation and communication practices. Learn and build upon existing resources / processes / tools. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver research insights. Manage individual workload and deliver to established project milestones.
