The Ben Zinn Combustion Laboratory within the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering is seeking a Research Engineer to take on the responsibility for designing, installing and operating combustion test facilities, analyzing data, and assisting in day-to-day experimental facility operations, data acquisition, and analysis. Subsequently, other interesting and challenging assignments may evolve elsewhere in the School of Aerospace Engineering. The Ben T. Zinn Combustion lab (https://www.comblab.gatech.edu/) is a nationally leading research and test facility for combustion systems. Work is performed across a wide range of applications, involving clean energy systems, rocket combustion, high performance combustion systems, and next generation aircraft engine combustors. The lab has major high pressure air systems, unique optically accessible combustion test rigs, and state of the art diagnostics. This research engineer will perform a range of duties involving cutting edge experimental combustion research, development, and testing.
JOB SUMMARY
