Description:

Nanyang Technological University’s National Centre for Research in Digital Trust (DTC) is a Trust Technology Research Centre to execute a national program to help put Singapore into a strong trust hub. The key objective is to support efforts to create a trusted digital environment for people and businesses in the digital transformation by providing businesses and consumers with greater assurance and confidence as they digitalize. We are looking for a Research Engineer to plan and implement programmes and initiatives to achieve the strategic intent of DTC. The role will focus on building a TrustTech Ecosystem and driving TrustTech adoption through industry partnerships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experiences in similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Competent in multi-stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently, meticulous and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in Digital Trust and/or AI Safety would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with key industry collaborations to drive innovation and foster growth in TrustTech, and build long-term relationships that benefit the centre and ecosystem.
  • Assist with cultivation of global partnerships and engagement in international initiatives to expand the centre’s reach and create cross-border opportunities for collaboration.
  • Support efforts to grow and nurture a vibrant ecosystem of academic/research institutes, industry, government, and other stakeholders, fostering innovation and cooperation within the network.
  • Assist with planning and execution of impactful events that facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and enhance the centre’s profile and influence within the ecosystem.
  • Support in preparation of reports for funding agency to demonstrate impact and accountability, ensuring alignment with objectives.
