We are hiring a Research Engineer II in Signal Processing and Machine Learning to develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms and methods for drone swarms. The role will focus on visual localization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms and methods for drone swarms.
• Perform software/hardware implementation and empirical studies.
• Prepare report and conduct presentation at seminars.
• Assist PI in proposal writing and help supervise graduate students.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision frameworks.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, visual perception techniques, Python, and pytorch.
• Interpersonal skill (e.g. Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details / excellent organizational / time management skills)
