MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree with 30 + months (2.5 + years) of full-time work

experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience. • 12+ months systems administration support of the Army.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements within a military network.
• US citizenship is required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree with 36 + months, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience (of which should include 3 + years of full-time work experience).
• 24+ months systems administration support of the Army.
• Knowledge of STIG Policy Compliance within a military network.

The Research Engineer will perform research and provide systems administration support to the RENEGADE team in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform research and provide systems administration support to the RENEGADE team in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
• Provide cybersecurity expertise to mitigate threats to the MDA network, and to ensure all administration functions are performed to MDA standards
• Mentor more junior level system administrators and analysts regarding risk mitigation techniques and procedures
