Description
Description About Inspira Technologies OXY B.H.N. Ltd. Inspira Technologies is an innovative medical technology company in the respiratory treatment arena. The Company has developed a breakthrough Augmented Respiration Technology (INSPIRA™ ART500), targeting hyper-personalization care, supported by INSPIRA AI that is designed to rebalance patient oxygen saturation levels within minutes, aiming to significantly improve patient outcomes. This technology potentially allows patients to remain awake during treatment while reducing the need for highly invasive, risky, and costly mechanical ventilation systems that require intubation and medically induced coma. We are seeking a Research Engineer to join our multidisciplinary research team developing an advanced sensor technology designed to continuously measure vital blood parameters in real time. This is a unique opportunity to take part in cutting-edge research that bridges biomedical engineering, optics, and data science — driving forward solutions that improve patient monitoring and outcomes in critical care settings. The Company is in Raanana. Full time position Requirements Responsibilities • Design and conduct experiments focusing on feasibility, performance, functionality, and optimization. • Define experimental objectives, design test plans, and ensure data accuracy and reproducibility. • Participate in data collection experiments and analysis; prepare detailed reports summarizing research findings, conclusions, and recommendations for next steps. • Conduct active research by exploring new technologies and performing literature reviews to assess the technical feasibility and potential of new approaches. • Evaluate and procure off-the-shelf products, assessing their technical specifications, compliance, and suitability for system integration. • Prepare detailed documentation, including technical specifications, test protocols, and reports. • Hands-on involvement in lab experiments, working with multidisciplinary equipment, including mechanics, fluid-flow systems, controllers, electro-mechanics, and software. Requirements • B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering with 3 years of experience from a medical device company or M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering • Experience with optical equipment and background – strong advantage. • Hands on experienced with a ‘wet’ R&D lab – MUST • Strong technical capabilities (HW/SW/Mechanics) – MUST • Experience in programming language and data analysis and data science approaches (python)- MUST • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a “whatever it takes” attitude. • English in high level – MUST
Responsibilities
The Research Engineer will design and conduct experiments to measure vital blood parameters in real time. Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and preparing detailed reports summarizing research findings.
