The Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering (MME) is one of six academic units in the Faculty of Engineering. Faculty and staff in the department support and foster the educational and research pursuits of undergraduate and graduate engineering students, while providing the best student experience. The Department aspires to become one of the top Mechanical and Materials Engineering Departments in the world. The Research Engineer will apply their expertise and knowledge to technical projects and find innovative, cost-effective means to conduct and improve research, techniques, technologies, and products. The incumbent will conduct fundamental experiments on the melting/solidification of Phase-change materials (PCMs) independently and will assist the work of other HQP in the research group. The incumbent will write up the findings for scientific publications.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, PhD in Mechanical or Materials Engineering and have experimental expertise with PCM melting and solidification in relevant position - Preferred
