Responsibilities

THE TASKS OF THE POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER (INNOVATION) WILL INCLUDE:

  • Conduct world-class research in foundational AI, with a focus on applications in the financial sector.
  • Develop innovative algorithms, machine learning models, and AI systems that address real-world challenges in banking and finance.
  • Collaborate closely with CommBank representatives to understand industry needs and translate research into practical solutions.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals in AI, machine learning, and related fields.
  • Contribute to the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept systems that demonstrate the potential of AI in financial services.
  • Participate in regular meetings and workshops with CommBank to ensure alignment between research goals and industry needs.
  • Mentor junior researchers and PhD students working on related projects within the partnership.
