Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working on a project investigating the long-term impact of ultra-processed food consumption on weight gain among UK adults and children. This role will contribute to a series of studies using rich longitudinal data to explore how individual and dietary factors influence this relationship.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research at the intersection of diet, health, and policy, with the potential to inform future public health strategies in the UK and beyond. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team committed to high-quality, policy-relevant research.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

The successful candidate will utilise data from two large, well-established UK cohorts: the UK Biobank and the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC). These cohorts provide detailed, repeated measures of dietary intake, biological and clinical indicators, and a range of socio-demographic variables.
