Description

The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics & Science invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
We are seeking for enthusiastic PhD degree holder in the field of organic/flexible/printed electronics to fill the position of Research Fellow. The project that this position will work on is on developing organic/hybrid semiconducting sensing devices to detect various unconventional functional targets for early disease detection.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • PhD degree in relevant discipline area such as Chemistry/Materials Science/Electrical Engineering/Electronics
  • Preferably at least 1 year experience in design, device fabrication and characterization of organic electrochemical transistors
  • Strong background in the development of solution-processed electronic devices, especially on organic semiconductors
  • Direct hands-on experience with nanomaterials such as electrically-active polymers, electrolytes, polymer composites and nanofibers
  • Good communication skills in written and oral English for research work purposes
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently without supervision
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) and understand the fundamental properties in these organic devices, ionic and electronic charge conduction
  • Develop OECTs as transducers and amplifiers for electrochemical biosensors.
  • Carry out the fabrication and testing of these bioelectronic devices
